Mom Piper's Chocolate Cake
Mom Piper'S Chocolate Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking powder, 2 tsp. baking soda and 3/4 c. cocoa, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Measure all dry ingredients except cocoa into mixing bowl. Add eggs, oil and milk to dry ingredients.
Mix well.
In a saucepan, mix cocoa and boiling water.
Add vanilla and blend well.
Blend cocoa mixture into ingredients in mixing bowl. Batter will be thin.
Pour batter into 2 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans.
Bake in 350Β° oven for 40 to 45 minutes.
Cool and frost with fluffy icing.
