Molded Mints
Molded Mints is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. shortening, 1/3 c. white karo syrup, 1 egg white, 1 3/4 lb. confectioners sugar and 1 tsp. flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Combine shortening, syrup, egg white, 1 pound confectioners sugar, flavoring and food coloring in mixer bowl; beat well.
Beat in as much remaining confectioners sugar as needed to make a stiff consistency.
Shape into balls; roll into sugar.
Press into candy molds.
Let dry for a day.
May be frozen.
Mint mixture can be divided for different flavoring and color.
