Molasses Cookies
Molasses Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. shortening, 2 c. sugar, 2 beaten eggs, 1/2 c. dark molasses and 4 c. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Beat together sugar and shortening.
Add eggs and molasses. Sift together and stir in remaining ingredients.
Chill dough overnight or at least several hours. Roll into balls. Dip in water, then roll in granulated sugar.
Place on cookie sheets and bake at 350Β° for 10 minutes.
Makes 7 to 8 dozen cookies.
