Molasses Cookies
Molasses Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3/4 c shortening, 1 c sugar, 1/4 c briar rabbit molasses (gold label), 1 egg and 2 tsp baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

π¨βπ³ Instructions
Melt shortening then let cool.
Ad sugar, molasses and egg. Mix well with mixer.
Sift dry ingredients together; add to first mixture.
Chill well.
Form into balls and roll in sugar.
Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until they start to crack. About 6 - 8 minutes.
Remove from oven.
Leave on cookie sheets for a few minutes.
Makes about 3 dozen.
