Molasses Cake
Molasses Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. shortening, 1/2 c. sugar, 3 eggs, separated, 3/4 tsp. soda and 2/3 c. molasses, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Cream shortening, sugar and yolks.
Add soda mixed with molasses.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add alternately with milk to first mixture.
Stir in beaten egg whites.
Stir in lightly floured raisins.
Bake in 9 x 13-inch greased pan at 350Β° for 45 to 50 minutes.
