Mock Strawberry Preserves
Mock Strawberry Preserves is an easy dinner. Made with equal amount of sugar and figs, 2 small boxes strawberry jello for each 4 to 6 c. figs and dash of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Wash figs in warm water.
Remove stems and cut figs in half. Cook figs and sugar over low heat until syrup is thick.
Add jello and cook until jello is dissolved.
Put in jars as you regularly do for preserves and jellies.
