Mock English Toffee is an easy dinner. Made with 35 soda crackers, 2 sticks oleo, 3/4 c. brown sugar, chopped nuts and 1 c. milk chocolate chips, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Line jelly roll pan with wax paper.
Arrange crackers, salt side down, in pan.
Boil margarine and brown sugar together for 5 minutes.
Spread over crackers and bake for 5 minutes at 400Β°. Immediately sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
Melt and spread; sprinkle with nuts.
