Mocha Cake
Mocha Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with cocoa to dust pans, 2 c. flour, 1 2/3 c. sugar, 1 1/3 c. water and 2/3 c. butter, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Preheat oven
Grease
9-inch round cake pans; coat bottoms and sides of pans lightly with cocoa.
Into a large bowl, measure 2/3 cup cocoa and remaining ingredients except frosting.
Speed, beat until just mixed. Increase speed to high; beat 4 minutes.
Pour batter into pans. Bake minutes until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
Cool cake pans on wire racks for 10 minutes. Remove from pans; cool completely.
Prepare Mocha Butter Frosting.
Place one layer, rounded side down, on cake plate; spread frosting.
Top with second cake layer, rounded side up; frost side and top of cake with remaining frosting.
Makes 16 servings.
