Mints
Mints is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. water, 2 c. sugar, 4 tbsp. butter or margarine, 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract (i use a few drops of oil of peppermint) and few drops red or green food coloring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Stir water, sugar and butter or margarine in a large saucepan over a medium heat until sugar and butter or margarine are dissolved.
Cook, without stirring, until a few drops tested in cold water produce a soft, crackable thread (261Β° on thermometer). Pour onto greased tray.
