Mincemeat Turnovers
Mincemeat Turnovers is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened, 1 c. flour, 1 1/2 c. mincemeat and 1 egg, well beaten, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine cream cheese with butter.
Stir in flour.
Cover and chill 1 hour.
Roll out on lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness.
Cut in 2 inch rounds.
Drop about 2 teaspoons mincemeat on each round.
Rub a little beaten egg around half edge, fold over and seal, allowing room to expand as it cooks.
Arrange on ungreased baking sheet and chill 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 350Β°. Brush turnovers lightly with melted butter.
Bake 10 to 15 minutes. Cool completely before storing.
