Mincemeat Cookies
Mincemeat Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. shortening, 3 eggs, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 (9 oz.) pkg. none such condensed mincemeat, crumbled and 1 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Preheat oven to 375Β°.
In a large mixer bowl, beat the shortening and sugar until fluffy.
Add eggs; beat well.
Stir together dry ingredients; gradually add to shortening mixture.
Mix well.
Stir in mincemeat.
Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto greased baking sheets.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
Garnish as desired.
Makes about 6 1/2 dozen.
