Mile High Strawberry Pie
Mile High Strawberry Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. flour, 1 stick margarine, 1/4 c. brown sugar, 1/2 c. pecans and 3 egg whites, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Mix flour with brown sugar.
Cut in margarine as for pie crust.
Stir in pecans.
Spread crumbs in 9 x 13-inch pan (do not pat).
Bake 15 minutes at 325Β°.
Stir twice with fork during baking.
Remove 1/2 cup crumbs for top.
Beat egg whites to form soft peaks.
Add strawberries and juice, lemon juice and sugar. Beat with mixer for 5 minutes.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Pile mixture over crumbs in pan.
Sprinkle remaining 1/2 crumbs over all. Freeze until firm.
