Mid-Summer Pasta is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. pasta, 1/4 c. olive oil, 2 to 8 cloves garlic, minced, 1/2 to 1 c. shredded fresh basil and 2 fresh tomatoes, chopped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Let marinate at room temperature for at least 2 hours the olive oil, garlic, fresh basil, dried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes and fresh ground pepper to taste.
Cook pasta al dente (do not overcook). Drain and add immediately to oil marinade.
Toss well and serve. Quick, easy and delicious!
