Microwave Pralines
Microwave Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. light brown sugar, 1 c. sugar, 1/3 c. corn syrup, 1/4 c. water and 1 tbsp. butter or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

Line cookie sheet with foil, grease lightly.
Oil large soup spoon.
Mix sugars, syrup and water in 2-quart glass measuring cup. Microwave uncovered on High 6 to 8 minutes.
Do not stir until microwave candy thermometer reads 234° to 240°.
Stir in butter and vanilla, then nuts.
Let stand 2 minutes.
Stir vigorously 2 minutes until mixture thickens and turns opaque.
Drop by tablespoon onto foil (If mixture sets, pop bake in microwave 30 to 45 seconds.)
Let stand 1 hour until cool.
Store in airtight container.
