Microwave Cranberry Sauce
Microwave Cranberry Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. fresh or thawed frozen cranberries, 1 c. chopped apple, 1/4 c. raisins, 1/2 c. apple juice and 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a deep, 1 1/2-quart casserole, combine cranberries, apple, raisins, apple juice, cinnamon and lemon peel.
Cover loosely with waxed paper.
Microwave on High 5 to 7 minutes, or until skins on cranberries pop, stirring once.
Add sugar; stir until dissolved. Cool.
Cover and refrigerate.
