Microwave Caramels
Microwave Caramels is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. butter, dash of salt, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 c. light corn syrup and 2 1/4 c. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine butter, brown sugar, light corn syrup, milk and salt in 2-quart bowl.
Cover with plastic wrap and microwave on High for 10 minutes.
Stir twice during cooking.
Remove plastic wrap and continue cooking for 16 to 18 minutes at 70% or Medium-high.
Stir in vanilla and pour into a buttered 13 x 9-inch glass baking dish. Cool and cut into pieces.
