Microwave Caramel Corn
Microwave Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 qt. popcorn, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. light corn syrup, 1/2 c. butter and 1/4 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Pop popcorn and put in large microwaveproof bowl.
Mix in another glass bowl the brown sugar, corn syrup, butter and salt. Cook on High for 2 minutes.
Stir and cook for another 3 minutes. Add vanilla and soda.
Pour over, a little at a time, the popcorn. Stir and mix well.
Cook in microwave for 1 minute on High. Stir again.
Pour rest of sauce over popcorn.
Cook again for 2 minutes.
Then cool on cookie sheet.
