Microwave Caramel Corn
Microwave Caramel Corn is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. (1 stick) margarine, 1 c. brown sugar, 1/4 c. light karo syrup, dash of salt and 1 tsp. baking soda, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
In a microwavable 3 quart dish, combine margarine, brown sugar and Karo syrup.
Microwave on High for 5 minutes, stirring halfway through.
Stir in soda.
Place popped popcorn in brown paper bag. Pour brown sugar mixture over popcorn.
Stir or shake to coat popcorn.
Put bag in microwave and cook on High 1 minute.
Stir. Cook on High another minute.
Shake and serve.
