Microwave Basic Meat Loaf
Microwave Basic Meat Loaf is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 1/2 lb. ground lean chunk, 3/4 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs, 1 egg and 2 tbsp. ketchup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Mix together beef, onion (can substitute 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes), crumbs, ketchup, milk and seasonings.
Spoon mixture into a 9 x 5 x 3-inch glass loaf dish.
Spread last 2 tablespoons of ketchup evenly over top of loaf. Cover with plastic wrap, turning back one corner to vent.
Microwave at Medium-high (7) for 29 to 32 minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn after half the time.
Let stand about 10 minutes to firm before serving.
