Mexican Steak
Mexican Steak is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 4 steaks (4 to 5 oz. each), 1 (12 oz.) bottle dark beer, 1/2 tsp. dried red pepper, 4 cloves garlic and 1 tsp. ground cumin, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Puncture both sides of steak.
Put in shallow casserole. Combine beer, red pepper, garlic, cumin and chili powder to form a marinade.
Pour over beef.
Marinate for 1 to 2 hours or longer. Remove from marinade; place on rack of broiler pan.
Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.
Broil to desired doneness. Time will depend on thickness of steaks.
