Mexican Salad
Mexican Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. ground beef, 1/4 c. chopped onion, 2 c. drained kidney beans, 1/2 c. catalina salad dressing and 1/2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Brown ground beef.
Add onion and cook until tender.
Stir in kidney beans, salad dressing, water and chili powder.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Shred 8 ounces Cheddar cheese.
Combine lettuce and sliced green onions.
Add meat sauce and 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese.
Toss lightly and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
