Cook rice, salt and oregano.
In 1 1/2-quart greased casserole with cover, layer 1/2 of the rice, 1/2 sour cream, 1/2 chopped green chilies and 1/2 of cheese.
Repeat layers.

Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350Β°.
