Mexican Rice
Mexican Rice is an moderately easy Mexican dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 20 minutes. Made with c. uncooked rice (long grain), small onion, diced, small green pepper, diced, c. water and . can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.
Two cups raw rice is fried until golden brown.
Then add onions, green pepper and spices.
Mix together with rice for about 5 minutes.
Add water, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes.
Mix together (medium flame).
"DO NOT STIR WHILE COOKING; RICE WILL STICK TOGETHER".
Let cook about 15 to 20 minutes or until all water has evaporated.
Ready to serve and eat.
