Mexican Fri Chik
Mexican Fri Chik is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 cans diced fri chik, drained, 1 small can evaporated milk, 1/2 c. sour cream, 1 can cream of celery soup and 1 c. chopped onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Saute onion and green chilies until onion is soft.
Add to remaining ingredients except tortillas and Cheddar cheese.
Grease a 3-quart casserole dish.
Place a layer of tortillas in the bottom of the pan.
Spoon some chicken mixture on tortillas and continue layering tortillas and chicken mixture.
Top with Cheddar cheese.
Bake, uncovered, at 300Β° for 1 hour.
Top servings with your favorite picante sauce.
