Mexican Casserole
Mexican Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 1 1/4 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 2 tbsp. instant minced onion, 1/4 c. diced green chili pepper and 1 c. tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Brown beef and onion, then add peppers.
Drain.
Stir in tomato sauce, chili powder and garlic salt.
Simmer while dividing biscuits.
Divide 5 biscuits to line an 8 or 9-inch pan.
Combine 1 cup cheese, sour cream and egg.
Mix well with meat.
Spoon over dough and place remaining biscuits on top.
Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375Β° for 25 to 35 minutes until biscuits are brown on top.
