Made with 1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground chuck, 1 (8 oz.) jar mild taco sauce, 1/2 lb. grated cheese, 1 pkg. martha white jalapeño corn bread mix and 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

👨‍🍳 Instructions

Brown ground chuck and drain fat.

Stir in tomato sauce and taco sauce.

Spread mixture evenly in casserole dish.

Mix corn bread according to package directions, then add 1/2 of the French fried onion rings.

Spoon corn bread and onion batter over the beef and bake at 425° for about 20 minutes.

Remove from oven and top with grated cheese and the rest of the onion rings.

Put back into hot oven for 2 to 3 minutes to melt the cheese.

Serve hot.
