Meringue Puffs
Meringue Puffs is an easy dinner you can prepare in just 26 minutes. Made with egg whites, . cream of tartar, c. sugar, . salt and . vanilla extract, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
In a mixing bowl, beat egg whites and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. After all sugar is added gradually add salt and vanilla. Beat until stiff peaks form and all the sugar is dissolved about 5 to 8 minutes. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 300Β° for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet. Once cooled, remove and store in airtight container. Yield: 4 dozen.
