Meat Loaf Wellington
Meat Loaf Wellington is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (10 1/2-oz.) can beef gravy, 1 1/2-lbs. lean ground beef, 1 c. small bread cubes, 1 egg, slightly beaten and 1/4 c. minced onion, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Combine 1/4 cup gravy with ground beef, bread crumbs, egg, onion, salt and pepper, mix thoroughly.
Shape firmly into loaf.
Place in shallow baking dish.
Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
Separate rolls, place crosswise over top and down sides of meat loaf, overlapping slightly.
Bake 15 minutes more.
Meanwhile, heat remaining gravy.
