Meat Loaf
Meat Loaf is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 can hunt's meat loaf fixings tomato sauce, 2 eggs, beaten, 3/4 c. bread crumbs (italian style), 1/8 tsp. thyme and 1/8 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Combine 1 cup meat loaf fixings with eggs.
Add next 8 ingredients; mix thoroughly.
Add ground chuck and thoroughly combine.
Shape half of meat loaf in shallow pan.
Fold cheese slices in half; place on top of meat loaf.
Add rest of meat mixture.
Make sure meat is sealed around cheese.
Cut bacon in half and lay on top of meat loaf.
Bake at 375Β° for 1 hour.
Drain off grease.
Mix remaining tomato sauce with the brown sugar and seasonings to make topping.
Pour over meat loaf.
Return to oven and bake 15 minutes longer.
