Mix the ground chuck, bread, egg, 1/2 package onion soup mix, mushrooms, salt, pepper and garlic thoroughly.
Make into small balls. Brown lightly in margarine.
Place in baking dish. Cover with the sour cream mixed with the remaining 1/2 package soup mix. Bake in a 325Β° oven for 30 to 40 minutes.
