Cream butter.
Beat in sugar.
Add beaten egg yolks, vanilla, mashed potatoes and cocoa.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with milk, then add nuts.
Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Bake in buttered flat cake pan for about 50 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
