Mary's Pound Cake
Mary'S Pound Cake is an easy dinner. Made with 12 eggs, 1 lb. butter or margarine, 4 c. all-purpose flour, 2 c. sugar and flavor desired, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Separate whites from yolks of eggs, beat yellows until very light.
Add sugar and beat until it is dissolved, then add softened butter.
Add flour that has been sifted with a pinch of salt.
Beat well, add flavoring and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Bake in 9-inch funnel pan, lined with wax paper, for about an hour and 15 minutes at moderate heat.
Test cake at an hour's baking with ice pick to determine balance of time needed for baking.
