Mary's Peanut Butter Fudge
Mary'S Peanut Butter Fudge is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2/3 c. milk, 2 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. white karo syrup, 1 tbsp. vanilla and 1 c. peanut butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Put milk, sugar, syrup and salt in 3-quart saucepan.
Over medium to high heat, bring to a boil.
Once ingredients begin to boil, be sure to stir as much as possible.
After about 15 to 20 minutes, begin checking a small amount of mixture in cup of cold water.
When mixture forms a soft ball in cold water, remove pan from heat.
Add remaining ingredients; mix until mixture is smooth.
Put into greased pan or dish.
Put in refrigerator until hard.
Cut and serve.
