Mary'S Fresh Strawberry (Or Peach) Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. sugar, dash of salt, 3 tbsp. cornstarch, 1 c. water and 1/4 c. strawberry or peach gelatin powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Combine sugar, salt and cornstarch in saucepan. Stir in water gradually. Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add gelatin powder. Stir until dissolved.
Stir in lemon juice. Cool glaze.
