Mary's Easy Shepherd's Pie
Mary'S Easy Shepherd'S Pie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. ground beef, 2 lb. frozen peas and carrots or other mixed vegetables, 2 lb. seasoned mashed potatoes, 2 pkg. brown gravy mix and salt and pepper to taste, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.

In skillet, brown meat just until done. Drain off fat.
Place meat in large casserole dish.
Layer frozen vegetables over meat. Mix water with gravy mix; pour evenly over meat and vegetable layers.
Spread mashed potatoes over other layers. Dot with margarine, if desired.
Cover and bake in a 350Β° oven for 45 minutes.
Remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes or until potatoes are slightly browned. Excellent one dish meal.
