Place sugar, evaporated milk and butter in saucepan.
Bring to a boil.
Cook to soft-ball stage or 236° on thermometer, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat.
Add Marshmallow Crème, nuts and chocolate chips.
Stir until ingredients are melted.
Pour into 9 x 9-inch buttered pan.
Chill until firm.
Cut into squares.
Yield: 3 pounds.
