Marinara Sauce
Marinara Sauce is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/3 c. olive oil, 2 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced, 3 tbsp. finely chopped parsley, 3 tbsp. finely chopped onion and 1 can (28 oz.) whole tomatoes, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
In large saucepan, heat oil over medium heat.
Add garlic and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
Add parsley and onion.
Slowly add tomatoes.
Stir to break up tomatoes.
Add bay leaf, salt and pepper.
Bring to a boil.
Cover and simmer on low about 15 minutes.
Serve over pasta dishes or with rice.
