Marie's Cordon Bleu Casserole
Marie'S Cordon Bleu Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. cubed chicken breast, cooked, 1 to 2 c. cubed ham, 2 to 3 c. cooked minute rice, 1 stick butter and 1 can mushroom soup, thinned with 1 can water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

In a large pan, melt butter over low heat (do not brown). Stir in mushroom soup/water mixture and mushrooms; heat until very warm.
Stir in gently the sour cream and heat (do not boil).
Stir in rice, ham and chicken.
Simmer gently.
(If mixture seems too thick, add water.)
Add cheese; combine all and heat until cheese melts.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with parsley for decoration.
Dot with butter and thin with water to reheat leftovers in microwave.
