Marian's Baked Eggs
Marian'S Baked Eggs is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 9 slices white bread (no crust), 1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, grated, 1/2 c. jack cheese, grated, 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled and 1 small can green chilies, diced, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch glass baking dish with butter.
Break bread into pieces and place on bottom of dish.
Sprinkle cheese on top of bread and bacon on top of cheese.
Add chilies and green onion. Whip eggs, milk, salt and pepper.
Pour over all. Refrigerate overnight.
