Maple Walnut Chiffon Cake
Maple Walnut Chiffon Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. flour, 3 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. salt, 2 c. brown sugar and 1/2 c. oil, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Pan size: tube pan.
Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir in with fork the brown sugar.
Make a well and add oil, egg yolks, cold water, maple flavoring and vanilla.
Beat until smooth.
Beat egg whites and cream of tartar until it holds very stiff peaks. Pour first mixture over egg whites in thin stream.
Fold gently; this is very important.
One cup of finely chopped nuts may be added last.
Bake at 325Β° for 65 to 70 minutes.
