Manicotti Cheese Bake
Manicotti Cheese Bake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. ground beef, 1/2 c. minced onion, 1/4 c. chopped green pepper, 2/3 c. tomato paste (6 oz.) and 2 c. water, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Saute meat, onion and green pepper.
Drain off fat.
Add paste, water, salt, pepper, sugar and seasoning.
Simmer 15 minutes.
Parboil shells in salted water, approximately 6 minutes. Drain on paper towel.
Fill shells with combined Ricotta (or cottage), Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses and parsley.
Place shells in shallow baking dish.
Cover with sauce.
Bake in a 350Β° oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
