Manicotti
Manicotti is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 lb. pork sausage, 2 (15 oz.) hunt's italian tomato sauce, 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste, 1/4 c. water and 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Cook sausage.
Divide in half.
To first half, add tomato sauce and paste, water and brown sugar.
Simmer 15 minutes.
To second half, add Ricotta cheese, 2 cups Mozzarella cheese, egg and parsley.
Pour half of sauce in a 13 x 9-inch pan.
Stuff noodles with cheese mixture and put on sauce.
Pour remaining sauce over manicotti.
Sprinkle with remaining cup of cheese.
Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes at 350Β°.
