Mama's Old-Fashioned Tea Cookies
Mama'S Old-Fashioned Tea Cookies is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sugar, 1/2 c. shortening (softened), 1/2 c. milk, 4 eggs, beaten and 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Sift flour in biscuit bowl.
Make a "well" in flour.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, vanilla and milk.
Pour all ingredients in flour "well" and mix like you would make biscuits. Roll dough (small amount at a time) on a floured board to 1/2-inch or thinner.
Cut with a cookie cutter dipped in flour.
Bake about 15 minutes in 350° to 375° oven or until golden brown.
