Macaroon Custard is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 c. milk, 2 1/2 tbsp. cornstarch, 1/2 c. sugar, 2 eggs and pinch of salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Scald milk in a double boiler.
Mix sugar, cornstarch and egg yolks with 3 tablespoons of milk.
Add to scalded milk.
Cook until thickens; then fold in beaten egg whites and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
Add whole or broken macaroons.
