Macaroni-Sausage Casserole
Macaroni-Sausage Casserole is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni, 1 lb. pork sausage, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1/2 c. green pepper and 3 tbsp. flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cook macaroni in 3 quarts boiling salted water for 7 to 8 minutes.
Drain well.
Brown sausage; remove and reserve 1/2 sausage.
Saute onion and green peppers in 2 tablespoons fat. Stir in flour and salt.
Slowly add milk.
Cook over medium heat; stir until thick.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups cheese.
Combine macaroni and sauce; turn into a greased 2-quart casserole.
Top with 1/2 cup cheese and reserved sausage.
Bake at 400Β° for 25 minutes, or until golden.
