Put tomatoes in large saucepan.

Let it come to a boil, crush it and let it boil for about 40 minutes uncovered.

Add drippings from Meatballs and Sausage and the meat. Let boil for another 1/2 hour with the meat.

At same time you add the meat add the basil, about 3 to 4 leaves or 1 teaspoon dry and salt.

Then put in the tomato paste with the water and sugar and let boil another minutes.

Often thoroughly. Serve with your favorite pasta.

Skim sauce if necessary.
