Macaroni Paprikash
Macaroni Paprikash is an impressive pasta dish you can prepare in about 1 hour 38 minutes. Made with (8 oz.) elbow macaroni, chopped onion, . butter, . ground beef and . flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Cook elbow according to directions; drain and return to pot. Saute onion in butter in large skillet and push aside.
Shape ground beef into a large patty in the same pan.
Brown 5 minutes on both sides and then break up into chunks.
Blend in flour, paprika, salt, bouillon cube, milk, mushrooms, liquid from mushrooms and water.
Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils for 1 minute.
Blend about 1/2 cup of the hot mixture into the sour cream, then stir back into pan.
Stir into cooked macaroni; add parsley.
Put into greased casserole, sprinkle with buttered bread crumbs and paprika.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes.
