Louise's Crispy Pickles
Louise'S Crispy Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 25 to 30 medium fresh cucumbers, 8 large white onions, chopped, 2 large bell peppers, chopped, 1/2 c. salt and 5 c. cider vinegar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Wash cucumbers and slice as thin as possible.
Combine with chopped onions and bell peppers.
Add salt; let stand at least 3 hours.
Drain.
In large pot, combine vinegar, sugar and spices, except turmeric.
Bring to a boil.
Add vegetables that are well drained.
Heat thoroughly, but do not boil.
Add turmeric.
Pack into hot, sterilized jars and seal at once.
