Little Sweet Ears
Little Sweet Ears is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp. sugar, 2 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp. nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.
Dry ingredients together in large bowl and make a well in the center.
Blend eggs, butter, milk and orange peel. Add all at once to flour mixture.
Stir to blend well.
Cover and chill thoroughly about
2 hours.
Roll out one-half the dough a time
1/8-inch thickness.
Into 4-inch rounds.
3 or 4 at a time in deep, hot fat until puffed and golden, to 2 minutes on each side.
Drain.
Keep warm. Drizzle with honey or warm praline sauce.
