Lions Club Ranch Beans
Lions Club Ranch Beans is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 7 lb. dry pinto beans, water to cover, 32 oz. tomato sauce, 56 oz. canned tomatoes, cut up and 3 heaping tbsp. onion powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Soak beans 4 hours or overnight.
Add tomato sauce, canned tomatoes, onion powder, chili powder and bacon ends.
Add water to cover.
Bring to a boil and simmer covered until done.
Add water as necessary to keep beans covered.
About an hour before serving, season to taste with salt, pepper and liquid smoke.
Serves 50 to 70.
